The delegation will visit the United Arab Emirates in connection with the death of the country's previous leader, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The delegation, which will be led by US Vice President Kamala Harris, also includes climate special envoy John Kerry, Harris' national security aide Philip Gordon, and White House National Security Council Middle East and North Africa coordinator Brett McGurk.
On May 13, after a long illness, the second president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, died.
He was 73 years old.
