In the United States, this Saturday, May 14, was a day of mobilization in favor of the right to voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG).

A few days after the leak of a draft Supreme Court decision that would end the constitutional protection of this right and leave it to the states to legislate, demonstrations were organized throughout the country and in particular in the federal capital, where the Supreme Court sits.

Transport women to more liberal states to abort

Further in the crowd, Alexis came from Ohio, and she savors the moment: “ 

We feel really strong, it's like it should be.

We are the majority and I'm sure more people would have come if they could.

I don't see why we couldn't speak up and do what is necessary to prevent this right from being taken away.

Alexis has already had an abortion and that's why she helps others: “ 

It's incredibly difficult, especially in my state, a red state, a republican state.

So I'm in Facebook groups where we offer to transport people to more liberal states if they need an abortion or medical care they can't get at home.
