- It means a lot to us who are in this situation that it lifts, she says.

Kristin, who herself has suffered from breast cancer, recognizes the pain, anxiety and stress that it means to live with a serious illness and, above all, the wait and the difficulty in planning her future.

"Arouses a lot of thoughts and feelings"

- It is clear that I am very touched and it evokes a lot of thoughts and feelings in me when you see her interview and how my situation was and how I experienced it, says Kristin Pallman vice president of the breast cancer association.

- It is precisely these thoughts about anxiety that I can really recognize myself in, because I am currently waiting for an X-ray message.

During the pandemic, the screening was paused for periods.

Many withdrew to get their control and SVT Öst then told about the breast cancer association's concerns about the pandemic's impact. 

- The indications we have received now are that it looks like before the pandemic, says Kristin Pallman.

- Understanding what it is like to live in this situation, but I think it is also difficult for others if you have not been in the same situation to actually understand what you are going through and what these fears and worries actually do to you, says Kristin Pallman.
