The G7 countries acknowledged the deterioration in the development of the global economy due to the situation in Ukraine

In a statement published by TASS, it is noted that the current situation has provoked a strong increase in prices for food, fuel and energy.

The document also notes that about 43 million people are one step away from hunger.

Earlier, Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the UN Dai Bing said during a meeting of the UN Security Council that Western sanctions would not bring peace to Ukraine, but would only provoke a global crisis in the food, energy and financial sectors.

UN Secretary General António Guterres at a meeting of the UN Security Council announced the need to return to the world markets of products and fertilizers from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
