At least 10 people were killed in a shooting at a shopping center in Buffalo, New York, police said.

Police said they have arrested the suspect in the shooting.

The newspaper, "The Buffalo News", quoted a police official who was at the scene of the accident, and a source close to law enforcement agencies, that "10 people were killed by a gunman wearing protective gear and carrying a powerful rifle, while 3 others were injured, two of them in critical condition."

US media reported that the shooter posted a statement online describing himself as an 18-year-old, white supremacist and anti-Semitic.

Media reports added that the shooter broadcast the attack directly on the Twitch service, which broadcasts videos directly.

New York Governor Kathy Hochhol said she was closely following developments in the shooting incident.
