Outdoor activities are particularly preferred, such as tree climbing.

A discipline that has been very successful since the beginning of the year, notes Arnaud Mahy, operator of adventure parks for 14 years and president of the active leisure union.

“We are delighted with the sunshine that there is at the moment. The weather has a huge impact on our activity and we are in a post-Covid situation which has pushed families towards outdoor activities. So, on a beautiful weekend, attendance can be increased by 10 to 20% compared to the previous period, in 2019."

"Up to 100,000 customers per day"

For the president of the Active Leisure Union, which brings together more than 400 members, or 3/4 of the profession, the return of customers is a boon after two years marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I think that indeed we will have a significant attendance on all the parks in France, this year. We can expect to welcome up to 100,000 customers per day throughout France”, assures Arnaud Mahy. 

And with 500 treetop adventure parks and 120 inflatable water parks on the territory, "everyone has one within 30 kilometers of their area of ​​residence. And it's true that it's a hobby that's easy to enjoy. access," he says.
