“The United States themselves have driven our dialogue to a standstill, defiantly neglecting the national interests of Russia,” Antonov said on the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel.
According to him, the United States torpedoed attempts to peacefully resolve the crisis in Europe.
He noted that the US authorities have stopped face-to-face contacts with Russian diplomats, communication takes place only by phone and e-mail.
Antonov also said that the employees of the Russian embassy in the United States were receiving threats.
