The Office of the President's spokesman said today that the Yoon Seok-yeol administration will hold a cabinet meeting to compile an additional supplementary budget at the Yongsan Presidential Office tomorrow (12th).

The '33 trillion won + α supplementary budget bill' is scheduled to be submitted to the National Assembly on the 13th after going through the cabinet meeting.

Previously, the party and government agreed to an additional budget plan to pay at least 6 million won per person to 3.7 million small business owners and self-employed people who suffered damage due to the corona business restrictions.

The spokesperson's office said, "It is an emergency cabinet meeting that is held urgently when the prime minister and a number of ministers have not been appointed." added.

In addition to the regular cabinet meeting once a week, ad hoc meetings can be convened if necessary.

However, the quorum for decisions is the same for both regular and ad hoc meetings.

Article 88 of the Constitution stipulates that "the State Council shall be composed of the President and Prime Minister and not less than 15 and not more than 30 members of the State Council", and in order to satisfy this requirement, ultimately, more than 15 ministers are required.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the ministers of the former Moon Jae-in government will also have to remain in the cabinet to attend this cabinet meeting.
