According to a copy of the letter with the proposal, which Izvestia has, the budget compensated air carriers for 85% of the cost of kerosene, based on the average cost of fuel at domestic airports.

In order to return to “fair” pricing, the department proposed to untie the calculation of compensation from the export alternative and consider it as the difference between the exchange and indicative (55.9 thousand rubles) prices of the domestic market.

At the same time, it is noted that if the export alternative again turns out to be lower than domestic prices, then it will be necessary to return to the calculation from export prices.

In February, the European Union banned the supply of goods to Russia for use in the space or aviation industries.
