The indicator of 7.4% was a record for the entire history of observations of the statistical bureau.
“Thus, the inflation rate reached a new high in the united Germany for the second month in a row,” according to the Destatis website.
It is noted that the indicator coincided with the forecast of analysts surveyed by the DailyFX portal and a preliminary estimate.
