Casey White and Vicky White, who have the same name but have no family ties, were found by the police on Monday May 9.

In ten days, the couple had managed to travel hundreds of kilometers through at least four American states.

.
The police admitted to having no idea where they might be, until a phone call from a witness who thought he saw their car.
A tip confirmed by video surveillance images.
Pursuit
Pursued by the federal police, their pick-up is finally rammed voluntarily by the Marshals to put an end to the chase.
Casey White surrenders.
Vicky White, seriously injured, died a few hours later in hospital.
Model employee
If the case has fascinated the United States, it is above all because of the profile of the couple: he, a 38-year-old tattooed colossus, a repeat offender, she, nearly 20 years his senior, very close to retirement and described by the sheriff of her town as a model employee.
This same sheriff promised that Casey White, who was already serving a 75-year prison sentence, “
would never see the light of day again
”.
