May 9, local time, is the last day of South Korean President Moon Jae-in's term.

At around 18:00 that day, Moon Jae-in "officially got off work" and left the Blue House with his wife Kim Jung-sook.

When the reporter came to Xiaozidong near the Blue House at about 16:00 that day, he saw a large number of people queuing here.

After the security check, people gathered near the Blue House fountain and the salangang room, anxiously waiting for Moon Jae-in and his wife to walk out of the Blue House. Some people took pictures in front of the banner that said "Thank you!".

At about 17:54, Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook, wearing blue ties, left the Blue House, accepted flowers from the staff of the Blue House in front of the museum, and took a group photo with them.

Afterwards, Moon Jae-in and his party were interviewed by the media and presented flowers by representatives of disadvantaged groups, and walked to the Blue House Fountain amid cheers.

Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong-sook cordially greeted and shook hands with the citizens waiting near the fountain sarangchae. Many people cheered loudly, and some were moved to tears.
