Three men have been arrested by agents of the Malaga National Police for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman, who
was intoxicated
, in the Malagueta area of the Malaga capital, police sources have confirmed to Europa Press .
The events took place from Sunday to Monday when the 091 room of the Malaga National Police received a call from
a witness, who warned that a very drunk woman was being
sexually assaulted
in the La Malagueta area.
The
detainees, aged 19, 30 and 31
, are accused of sexual assault and robbery with violence and intimidation, according to Efe from police sources.
The agents went to the scene and
surprised the three men with the victim
, who was released by the national police.
In addition, the woman realized that her
bag had also been stolen.
The police arrested the three men for their alleged involvement in the crimes of robbery with violence and sexual assault, activating the protocol set for these cases.
The investigation continues to establish how the events occurred.
According to what SUR newspaper has advanced this Tuesday, apparently the woman had been
having a few beers with a couple in a bar in La Malagueta but when she left she was left alone.
It was then that a man approached her and they began to talk in a friendly way and when she expressed her intention to return home, he offered to accompany her for a walk on the beach.
The woman agreed, but at one point he asked her to kiss him and he pounced on her, then the other two investigated appeared.
