In the truest sense of the word, the Frankfurt Oktoberfest has been through a long dry spell: the marquee next to the Waldstadion could not be set up twice in the past two years due to corona, no beer was tapped and no Oktoberfest atmosphere could be transported to Frankfurt.

From September 7th to October 3rd, however, the motto in the city of Bembels will again be "O'zapft is!" and specially brewed festival beer will be drunk from beer mugs.

Advance sales for the 22 events in the marquee begin this Tuesday.

"The backlog is immense, as we can see from the many pre-bookings," says Patrick Hausmann, who organizes the festival together with his brother Dennis and Kai Mann.

The Hessian version of the world's largest folk festival begins with a performance by Mickie Krause.

Bookings for individual and group tickets can be made online at

www.frankfurter-oktoberfest.de

or by calling the ticket hotline on 0 69 / 4 07 66 25 80.

Tickets starting at 50 euros in the evenings including a meal voucher are also available at all advance booking offices.

One euro of each ticket goes to the Reiner Meutsch Foundation Fly & Help, which wants to build a school in the Dominican Republic.
