Israel Radio reveals a serious operational “failure” in the army

On Tuesday, the Israeli State Comptroller revealed a serious operational "failure" within the Israeli army.

On Tuesday evening, the Israeli Army Radio quoted a state comptroller report that the Israeli army recorded a serious operational failure in the West Bank and in the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip, as well.

The report stated that the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the army did not allocate an adequate budget for the security components of the West Bank settlements, in terms of infrastructure, the security fence or military equipment, through an economic gap or a gap in the budget of these settlements amounting to 470 million shekels.

The report emphasized that the Israeli settlements and towns in the north, as well as the borders with the Gaza Strip, represented an economic gap in the defense budget estimated at 110 million shekels, as the State Comptroller explained that this matter is considered a "serious operational failure."

The Financial Comptroller of the Israeli state demanded that a military economic plan be submitted to the Israeli cabinet, with the aim of filling these gaps to the Council of Ministers, quickly.
