“An emergency regime has been introduced on the territory of the entire Kurgan region since May 10,” the regional government said in a statement.

The decision was made in connection with "established difficult weather conditions", a storm warning due to wind gusts up to 20-25 m / s, contributing to an increase in the fire hazard class.

In the region, for the period of the special fire regime, it is forbidden to burn “garbage and dry vegetation, stubble, straw and livestock residues, make fires and carry out fire hazardous work, as well as use open fire for cooking in fields and in settlements.”

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warned earlier that high and extremely high levels of fire danger are predicted in a number of regions of the Asian part of Russia.
