“Everyone who is in the ranks today, their comrades-in-arms are worthily fulfilling their military duty, courageously fighting and defending the interests of our great Motherland of Russia with weapons in their hands,” said Major General Alexei Naumets, Deputy Commander of the Airborne Forces.
The servicemen were awarded Orders of Courage, St. George Crosses, and Suvorov medals.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu presented the gold stars of the Hero of Russia to participants in a special military operation to protect the LPR and DPR.
