It is reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region.

As TASS clarifies, according to the agency, a forest fire in the reserve in the Burzyansky district began on the evening of May 9.

20 people were sent to the scene of the fire.

The burning takes place on the right bank of the Maly Inzer River, the slope of the Maly Yamantau mountain is a hard-to-reach area and vehicles cannot get there.

“Before nightfall, the fire could not be localized; a strong wind also contributed to the spread of fire along the mountainside,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

The department also said that the fire does not threaten the settlement, there is a natural barrier - the river.

The wind blows from the village.

“In the morning, the approximate burning area is about 5-7 hectares,” reports the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Bashkiria.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that the last major fires in the region were completely extinguished.
