President Yoon Seok-yeol started his work today (10th) by signing the motion for appointment of Prime Minister Han Deok-soo in the new office on the 5th floor of the Yongsan Presidential Office.



President Yoon entered the government office at around 12:30 pm today and said, "I am very happy to prepare a space for us to work early and start working together from today."



Then, he said, "Let's work hard for this country where all our people live well together."



About 200 employees of the presidential office who came to greet President Yoon's 'moving in' gave a big applause and responded in return.



After arriving at the office on the 5th floor by elevator, President Yoon immediately sat down at a desk embossed with the phoenix and rose of Mugunghwa, the symbols of the president, and approved the No. 1 motion to appoint a prime minister to be sent to the National Assembly.



Then, 7 people were officially appointed: Choo Kyung-ho, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, Lee Jong-ho, Minister of Science and ICT, Lee Jong-seop, Defense Minister, Han Hwa-jin, Environment Minister, Lee Jung-sik, Employment and Labor Minister, Jung Hwang-geun, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Cho Seung-hwan, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries.



Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom exercised the right to request the appointment of a member of the State Council this morning.



Chief of Staff Kim Dae-gi, National Security Office Director Kim Seong-han, Chief Economic Officer Choi Sang-mok, Social Affairs Chief Ahn Sang-hoon, Choi Young-beom Chief Public Relations, Kim Yong-hyeon Chief Security Officer, and Kang In-seon Spokesperson Kang In-seon stood and watched President Yoon's approval.



President Yoon and his aides then sat around a round table in the middle of the Oval Office and chatted.

Chief of Staff Kim first said about the weather that day, "There was even a rainbow in the sky and he said that Korea would be all right."



Senior Public Relations Choi also assisted, saying, "During the event, a rainbow appeared, so citizens took pictures and posted them on social media. There has never been anything like this."



Even about the contents of the inaugural address, there was talk of thanks.



"I think the inaugural speech about freedom was very good," said Kim.



Spokesperson Kang said, "He made his inaugural speech too powerful." He also asked, "Did you receive a coach?"



In response, President Yoon said, "It was difficult to see because the sun was shining in direct sunlight today.



Earlier, after the inauguration ceremony at 12 pm today, President Yoon left the National Assembly and headed for the Yongsan Oval Office.



President Yoon, riding in a limousine with his wife, Kim Kun-hee, entered the main street in front of the National Assembly, lowered the windows, and waved to the citizens on the street.



As supporters at his inauguration ran and cheered, President Yun opened the sunroof, poked his torso out of his vehicle, and waved his arms to greet the citizens for about five minutes.
