It is hard to imagine that this remote mountain village, which used to "basically rely on walking for transportation and basically relying on roaring for communication", has successfully "out of the circle" with its unique natural resources, holding up the development of rural revitalization.
From remote villages to paradise, this is the epitome of Yuyao's rural revitalization.
Behind its butterfly change, it is inseparable from the role of the "Luting Concentric Practice Base" platform built by the Ningbo and Yuyao two-level united fronts.
"Luting Concentric Practice Base" was officially launched on August 28, 2012. The United Front Work Department of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, all democratic parties in Ningbo, Federation of Industry and Commerce, Ningbo Taiwan Affairs Office, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, Overseas Chinese Federation, Ningbo-Hong Kong Federation, Zhizhi 41 units including the Federation and the United Front Work Department of the Yuyao Municipal Party Committee participated in the construction.
Through nearly 10 years of construction, it has helped the township to achieve a win-win development of agricultural efficiency, farmers' income, and rural beauty, depicting a new picture of the united front "concentric" to help rural revitalization.

According to the relevant person in charge of the United Front Work Department of the Yuyao Municipal Party Committee, centering on the goals of "one township, one scenic spot" and "one village and one small product", the member units of the united front in Ningbo and Yuyao have paired up with 12 administrative villages in Luting Township to help them in depth. We will tap the potential of each paired village, increase the intensity of personality cultivation, help carry out service guidance projects such as tourism sign system design and characteristic village planning, and provide strong intellectual support for the scientific development of Luting.
Taking Zhongcun Village in Luting Township as an example, like many mountain villages, this village faces development constraints such as being far from the urban area and inconvenient transportation.
But in fact, Zhongcun Village, hidden in the deep mountains, has a forest coverage rate of 84% and is known as a "natural oxygen bar". It is a rare "paradise" in eastern Zhejiang.
How to convert these green resources into the endogenous power of rural development?
The United Front Work Department of Yuyao Municipal Party Committee tried to help Zhongcun Village to develop a boutique village design, and the village won the honorary titles of China's Beautiful Leisure Village, Zhejiang Province Historic and Cultural Village, and Ningbo Homestay Concentrated Village.

Because he is optimistic about the development of his hometown, Wang Baineng, the owner of Sanjianyu B&B, returned to Zhongcun Village to start a business in 2016. Now his B&B has grown into 8 buildings and 40 rooms. "We came back not only to make money, but also to make money. I want to use my own strength to build my hometown.”
In addition to the Sanjianyu homestay project, relying on the ecological advantages and resource endowments of Luting, the Ningbo and Yuyao United Front departments have also guided the United Front members to invest in Luting or actively build bridges. Featured tourism projects settled.
At the same time, in response to the fact that the infrastructure in Luting Township is relatively weak, the Ningbo and Yuyao United Front Work Departments actively guided United Front workers to donate lovingly, and successively assisted the construction of the New Fourth Army Rear Hospital Exhibition Hall, Lijiata Banqiao, and Zhongcun Covered Bridge. , Bailu Shifengyan viewing platform, Yanjiaao Village Villagers Activity Center and other projects have effectively improved the appearance of the township and optimized public services.
According to statistics, in the past 10 years, the Ningbo and Yuyao United Front Work Departments have implemented 132 concentric projects together with their member units, and invested 12.36 million yuan in the construction of physical projects.
In addition, through the platform of "Luting Concentric Practice Base", the Ningbo and Yuyao United Front Work Departments strongly supported Luting in promoting the construction of rural cooperative village-level service cooperatives, and promoted the development of characteristic industries such as sweet potato vermicelli and dried bamboo shoots.

Zheng Yafeng, a farmer in Luting Township who grows dozens of mu of sweet potatoes, is one of the beneficiaries.
In 2018, Luting Township established a village-level service cooperative in the village where Zheng Yafeng is located to build a "one-stop" platform for agricultural services.
"Customers only need to scan the QR code to place an order on the 'Beautiful Siming Mountain' platform, and they no longer have to worry about the sales of their products." Zheng Yafeng said.
