It has been confirmed that Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom plans to propose appointments to candidates who have passed the National Assembly personnel hearings, including Choo Kyung-ho, Minister of Strategy and Finance.

The new government's first cabinet meeting, which is expected this Thursday, the 12th, is expected to include some of the current government's state officials.

This news will be reported by Park Won-kyung, a reporter.

On the 2nd and 3rd, the Prime Minister candidate Han Deok-soo's personnel hearings were held, but the date of the plenary session of the National Assembly to vote on the approval bill has not yet been set.

In order to appoint a new government member of the State Council, a proposal from the prime minister is required, and the premise of the appointment of the prime minister is difficult.

Accordingly, Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom has decided to propose the next government member of the State Council for which the personnel hearing report has been adopted.

A key official in the Prime Minister's Office said, "Prime Minister Kim has decided on the afternoon of the afternoon to appoint and propose seven candidates, including Choo Kyung-ho, the Minister of Strategy and Finance, for whom the hearing report has been approved."

Prime Minister Bu-gyeom Kim is scheduled to resign the morning of the day after the proposal.

If this happens, the Yun Seok-yeol administration is expected to hold the first cabinet meeting to submit the second supplementary budget bill to the National Assembly on the 12th.

President Moon Jae-in today approved the dismissal of only three incumbent ministers, including Education Minister Yoo Eun-hye, Justice Park Beom-gye, and Unification Minister Lee In-young.

Combining the seven members proposed by Prime Minister Kim for appointment and the remaining current government ministers would satisfy the constitutional quorum of 15 for the State Council.

In the midst of this, President-elect Yoon announced the appointment of 20 deputy ministers from 15 ministries including Lee Do-hoon, former head of the Korean Peninsula Peace and Negotiation Headquarters, to the second vice minister of foreign affairs.

It is interpreted as a plan to run state affairs with the next best solution centered on the vice minister in case the appointment of a minister is delayed.

Kim Kyu-hyeon, former deputy director of the National Security Office of the Park Geun-hye administration, was appointed as the head of the National Intelligence Service.
