In Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), two men suspected of having stolen AirPods headphones were recently arrested by police officers from the anti-crime brigade.
They were then taken into custody.
Presented to a judge this Friday, they will be subject to an immediate appearance in court.
The facts of which they are accused took place on May 1 in the city center, says

Headphones detected at the station
That day, several people attacked a young man and beat him.
The attackers had seized the victim's bag and Apple headphones.
The latter, however, had remotely geolocated her AirPods a few days later, at the Perpignan station.
The owner of the headphones then notified the police, who arrested the suspects.
In addition to geolocation, video surveillance images filmed during the flight made it possible to identify the two men.
Faced with this evidence, they admitted to having attacked the young man and stolen his personal effects.
