Several reports stated that there is a technical loophole in the Apple Music application “iOS” that causes it to install itself, directly and automatically, on the docking station of the iPhone smartphone when downloading it instead of the phone’s home screen.

The application also displaces other applications that were previously placed on the docking station to replace them, which is something that applications cannot complete their work normally.

The TechCrunch website, which specializes in technology issues, indicated that some iPhone owners discovered the loophole that makes Apple Music establish itself as the primary music service when receiving a request to play a music service through the smart personal assistant “Siri”, even if another music service has been selected such as Spotify as the primary service on the smartphone.

It is not yet clear how widespread this technical vulnerability is among iPhone devices in the world, as tests conducted by TechCrunch experts showed mixed results.

According to this site, the problem of automatic installation of the Apple Music application on the iPhone connection base exists in various versions of the “iOS 15” operating system, which means that it is not related to the latest version of this system.

It is also present in different models of iPhone phones.

For its part, Apple stated that it is studying these reports, and that it does not have any details about the problem at the moment.
