For the first time, the field secretary arranged an EPA meeting in Värnamo and when the entrance opened at

15 the line of A-tractors waiting to enter the area was already long.

- We have received inquiries from several young people who are interested in motoring and who want something to happen in the city.

They usually gather anyway, but this will be a larger event with exhibitors and visitors, says Maria Rydbeck, field secretary in Värnamo municipality.

- There has been great commitment from adults and companies who look at this positively.

It feels very fun, says Maria Rydbeck.

Also a competition

The 52 young people who signed up and EPA and A-tractors could compete with their vehicles in different categories such as "Best looking EPA", "Best sound" or "Most rust".

The event is visited by ten exhibitors and they are among those who share the prizes.

The competitions still did not seem to be the most important thing for the young people that SVT met at Bredasten in Värnamo.

- No, I do not care if I win, I'm mostly here because it's fun, says Alva Magnusson, who was one of the few registered girls and who had driven there in her Suzuki Swift.

David Jacobsson also did not think he would win but signed up to drive in with his Volvo.

- I think it's fun that they do something for young people in Värnamo.

It's a small town and fun when something happens, he says.
