When refugees from Ukraine started coming to Boden in March, the premises where the organization Hela Människan distributes clothes, food and hygiene items to the needy became too cramped.
Despite the fact that they now have significantly larger premises in central Boden and the flow of refugees from Ukraine has decreased, there is still high pressure every day with long queues.
The organization has had to set up riot fences outside to lock in visitors.
The shelves are emptied every day
- There are a lot of people every day.
Everything we get in runs out, the shelves will be empty this afternoon, Johan Öqvist, operations manager at Hela Människan in Boden.
On Monday, the organization received 1,800 eggs.
- Two hours later it was over, says Johan Öqvist.
