AP: ISIS Claims Responsibility for Deaths of 11 Egyptian Soldiers in Sinai

"The Islamic State* branch in Egypt has claimed responsibility for the attack on a water pumping station east of the Suez Canal that killed at least 11 soldiers," the Twitter post said.

Earlier it became known that as a result of a terrorist attack in the Sinai Peninsula, an officer and ten soldiers of the Egyptian army were killed. 

As a result of the incident, five terrorists were injured.
