“On the facts of the death of people, the investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia initiated two criminal cases on the grounds of crimes under Part 3 of Art.
109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Infliction of death by negligence, resulting in the death of two or more persons”),” the ministry’s website said in a statement.
According to the investigation, the bodies of the dead were found in the Sharypovsky and Kazachinsky districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Investigative teams work at the scene of incidents.
Earlier it was reported that in the settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 16 settlements about 200 buildings caught fire, several sawmills and a kindergarten.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a state of emergency was declared against the backdrop of large fires.
Short circuits were cited as the main cause of the fires.
