According to the Federal Tourism Agency and the region, the average occupancy of hotels during the May holidays is at least 50%, and in the segment of four and five stars - about 75%.

Sanatoriums are loaded on average by 70%, ”TASS reports.

The department noted that hotel bookings in Crimea for May-June correspond to the level of last year.

Earlier, the president of the National Union of the Hospitality Industry (OSIG) Alexei Volkov spoke about the workload of Crimean hotels for the summer season.

According to him, massive cancellations of bookings in Crimean hotels for May and June are recorded.

In turn, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko said that, according to forecasts, the tourist flow on the peninsula in the summer will be at the level of last year.
