The People's Power by-election Nomination Management Committee decided to accept additional applications for candidates for Bundangap, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do and Gyeyang-eul, Incheon.

The Commission announced the results of the meeting through a press release today (7th) and said, "Gyeyang-eul and Bundang-gap have decided to receive additional notices by the morning of May 9, and then receive them on the afternoon of the 9th."

This seems to be a procedure to give Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the Presidential Transition Committee, who declared his candidacy for Bundangap yesterday, an opportunity to apply for additional applications.

Mission Chairman Yoon Sang-hyun met with reporters today and said, "Chairman Ahn expressed his intention to participate in the Bundang-gap contest."

Chairman Yoon added that the decision on whether or not to nominate a strategy will be decided after the application and interview on the 10th.

Previously, three people applied for Bundanggap: former lawmaker Park Min-sik, lawyer Jang Young-ha who wrote the book 'Goodbye, Lee Jae-myung', and former Seoul mayor by-election candidate Jeong Dong-hee.

In the case of Gyeyang-eul, which is classified as a rough terrain for the party, it seems that Lee Jae-myung, former governor of the Democratic Party of Korea, was strategically nominated.

In Power of the People, former Incheon City Council Chairman Yoon Hyung-sun, former School Violence Countermeasures Self-Governing Body Chairman Seol Won-seop, and former Daejeon University Konyang University adjunct professor Song Kwang-young have applied for the application.

There is also the possibility that a person with high recognition inside and outside the party may become a strategic nominee as a counter to the former governor, who is a giant.

Jeju Jeju-eul decided to hold a four-person primary using a 100% general public opinion poll.

Jeju Cultural History Tour Chairman Kim Seung-wook, accountant Kim Yong-cheol, former Grand National Party Jeju Provincial Party Chairman Sang-il Sang, and Jeju April 3 Central Committee member Hyun Deok-gyu compete.
