Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk announced this on social networks.
“President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed the law “On the de-Sovietization of the legislation of Ukraine,” TASS quotes him as saying.
Earlier, Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill to extend the period of martial law in the country.
It was also reported that a bill was registered in the Ukrainian parliament to ban the broadcast of Russian music on the radio, in public transport, cafes and cinemas.
