This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.

According to the materials of the case, the films “Green Elephant”, “Ninja Assassin” and “Experiment behind Glass” are freely available on several sites and without specifying age restrictions, which contain scenes of violence and methods of murder in a particularly cruel form.

“The court satisfied the administrative plaintiff’s claim to recognize information on the Internet as information whose distribution in Russia is prohibited,” the press service said.

Earlier, a court in Moscow fined Google 7 million rubles for publishing materials from Azov and Right Sector* on the YouTube video hosting site.

* "Right Sector" is a Ukrainian association of radical nationalist organizations, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia (decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 11/17/2014).
