Friday's early summer sun even resulted in a new heat record for the year, with 21.2 degrees measured in Oskarshamn.
But over the next 24 hours, temperatures are expected to fall quite sharply in large parts of the country.
In central Sweden, for example, temperatures are expected to be just over 10 degrees on Saturday, compared with almost 20 degrees on Friday.

It is followed by some showers on Saturday and Sunday, says SVT's meteorologist Marcus Sjöstedt.
