A man is still actively sought after this Friday after the attack on Thursday evening of a young jogger in Revel, Haute-Garonne.
The victim, in her twenties, met a cyclist around 7 p.m. who dismounted and threw himself on her, said a judicial source.
He choked her so hard she passed out.
When she came to her senses, her attacker had dragged her into a thicket and was indulging in sexual touching.
Seeing a walker with her dog, the jogger found the strength to scream for help, causing her attacker to flee.
An ongoing investigation
The young girl was treated by the firefighters and could be heard by the gendarmes of the Villefranche-de-Lauragais research brigade, in charge of the investigation.
The latter screened the scene of the attack and interviewed witnesses.
This Friday, the Toulouse prosecutor's office specifies that they are still looking for the worrying cyclist.
