Volodymyr Zelensky continues his calls for support from the international community.

Ukraine's president on Thursday announced the launch of an online crowdfunding platform designed to help kyiv win the war against Russia and rebuild the country's infrastructure.

“With one click, you can donate funds to help our defenders, save our civilians and rebuild Ukraine,” he said in English in a video posted to Twitter announcing the launch of the United24 platform.

Its 1st component is an online platform to raise funds in support of 🇺🇦.

Reports every 24 hours

“All funds will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine and allocated to the relevant ministries,” added the Ukrainian president, specifying that reports on the distribution of funds will be published “every 24 hours”.

Three categories of donations

Volodymyr Zelensky assured that Ukraine “will always remember” the contributions.

The platform, on the u24.gov.ua site, specifies that the funds will be distributed to respond to “defense and demining”, “medical aid” and to “rebuild Ukraine”.

This call for donations comes as more than six billion euros for Ukraine were raised at an international donor conference in Warsaw on Thursday.

On this occasion, Paris promised additional aid of 300 million.
