Emmanuel Macron will do well against a large left-wing coalition.

Thursday evening, the National Council of the Socialist Party ratified the agreement creating the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes) with LFI, EELV and the PCF for the legislative elections of next June.

The "for" won with 62% of the votes.

Now we can say it: it is historic.

Almost all of the left will have a single candidate in the 577 legislative constituencies.

It's pretty crazy considering the last five years and the last five months.

The word "historic" is not usurped.
