A video with his statement was published on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
He noted that large-scale events are being held on the territory and in the airspace of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the multinational exercises "Defender of Europe-2022".
“In fact, preparations are underway for conducting military operations in the eastern direction,” Kosygin said.
He also said that on the basis of NATO troops concentrated near the borders of Russia and Belarus, strike groups could be created.
