France: LREM becomes "Renaissance", within a confederation for the legislative elections

Emmanuel Macron's party, La République en Marche (LREM), officially changed its name this Thursday, May 5.
It will henceforth be called “Renaissance”.
In view of the legislative elections, the various parties of the majority are also grouped together in a confederation called “Together”, with Horizons, the party of Édouard Philippe, and the Modem of François Bayrou.

Renaissance was the name of the Macronist list for the 2019 Europeans. This will now be the name of its formation, "
faithful to the will of the President of the Republic

", according to the terms of Stanislas Guerini.
Today we are initiating a movement to rebuild La République en Marche in order to be able to continue to expand this political movement created by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron a little over six years ago in a political party that will bear the name of Renaissance.
In view of the legislative elections, the majority is also grouped together in a confederation called “Together”.
Horizons, the party of Edouard Philippe, obtained 58 candidates for the legislative elections in June, while François Bayrou's MoDem will have between 101 and 110, according to Agence France-Presse.
