The criticism came from several municipal politicians in the affected Halland coastal municipalities when the consultation round for the contingency plan ended.

Something that P4 Halland was the first to report on.

One of those who criticizes the fact that the municipalities are proposed to be given greater responsibility is Ann-Charlotte Stenkil (M), chair of the municipal board in Varberg.

- It was unclear who should be responsible for what, so we had views on that, she says.

The County Administrative Board was not surprised

It did not create much surprise at the County Administrative Board that the municipal politicians in the "nuclear power municipalities" Varberg and Kungsbacka direct criticism at the contingency plan.

- It is not directly new that the municipalities react like this when it comes to commitments, they want compensation, says Mona Agaton, manager of nuclear energy preparedness at the County Administrative Board in Halland.

In the clip, Ann-Charlotte Stenkil (M) explains why she is critical of the municipality being given increased responsibility.
