A 24-year-old police officer officiating in Creil (Oise) is suspected of having provided confidential information to around ten people, including a major dealer in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne).

According to

Le Parisien

and

La Dépêche du Midi

, the official in question is from the Pink City.

Arrested Tuesday at his home, he was to be heard the next day by the general inspectorate of the national police (IGPN) in Lille (Nord).

A video on a dealer's phone

According to

La Dépêche

, the peacekeeper would have helped major drug traffickers in Haute-Garonne by consulting their information sheets on his computer.

If they were wanted, he passed on the information to them.

The police officer in question would have been identified after the arrest in 2020 of one of the biggest dealers in Toulouse.

In the phone of this trafficker – since convicted – the investigators found a compromising video.

The images showed a man in front of his computer with the search file of the dealer in question.

After several months of investigation, the IGPN identified the peacekeeper as the author of the video.
