China Overseas Chinese Network, May 5. According to the Greek "China-Greece Times" report, on the evening of May 3 local time, the National Public Health Organization of Greece announced that there were 4,176 new cases of new coronavirus pneumonia in Greece in the past 24 hours, and a total of 3,335,550 cases have been diagnosed. .

There were 39 new deaths that day, bringing the total number of deaths to 29,249.

Meanwhile, it was officially announced that after the Easter break, students and teachers in schools across the country were back in school again.

Unlike the previous two years, students are no longer required to take the virus self-test.

The only precautionary measure that students and staff need to follow is the wearing of a mask – everyone inside and outside the classroom must wear a mask, along with regular ventilation and thorough cleaning of teaching surfaces and equipment.

For now, teachers who are not vaccinated are still required to undergo a weekly rapid test at their own expense, which must be done within 48 hours of starting school.

In the event of an outbreak in the school, teachers and students at the school will be required to take two self-tests on the 1st and 4th day, and the school will provide self-tests free of charge.

Relevant teachers and students should also wear more advanced masks (N95, KN95 or FFP2) or double-layer medical masks for 10 days.

When teachers and students become close contacts, vaccinated teachers and students should return to school as normal, conduct rapid testing at their own expense on the fifth day, and use high-protective masks or double-layer masks for 10 days.

Unvaccinated students should quarantine for 5 days and self-test at their own expense.

After the 5th day, if the test result is negative, you can wear a higher-grade mask (N95, KN95 or FFP2) or a double-layer medical mask to return to school, and after at least another 5 days, you can resume teaching normally.

In the event of a confirmed case, vaccinated and unvaccinated students and teachers will be treated equally, and the same rules as the general population will apply.

Beginning on the day when the new crown test is positive, after at least 5 days of isolation, if you have not taken any medicine, if your fever has completely subsided for 24 hours, and there are no other adverse symptoms, you can end the isolation.

If fever persists or symptoms do not improve, isolation should be extended.

Wear a high-grade protective mask (N95, KN95 or FFP2) or a double-layer medical mask for at least 5 days after the quarantine is over.
