“We rarely – I think only in the case of Iran and North Korea – imposed sanctions on the central banks of other countries, and the decision to take such a step against Russia was not an easy one,” RIA Novosti quotes her.

At the same time, she added that the restrictions imposed against Russia "have had a significant impact on Russia's economic prospects, including long-term ones."

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the West had stolen $300 billion from the Russian side.
