Sofi Fristedt is an associate professor at the School of Health Sciences in Jönköping.

She researches technology for the elderly and as we age.

Her research has included various target groups.

- When we compare different ages, you can be positive and be 90 years old and be negative and be 30 years old.

There is nothing to say that you are not interested in technology if you are older, she says.

"Designing mobiles for 25-year-olds"

Sofi Fristedt believes that the risk of ending up in digital exclusion is more about user-friendliness and economy than age.

The technology is simply not adapted for everyone.

- There are, of course, market forces in this.

A new mobile phone is being designed so that a 25-30-year-old will be attracted to it.
