“Today, Estonia has expelled a Russian citizen and long-term provocateur Alexei Esakov,” the ministry said in a statement cited by TASS.

As previously reported at the Russian Embassy in Estonia, the Immortal Regiment action in the republic will be held online.

The agency recalls that the Estonian police, in connection with the upcoming Victory Day, has introduced a ban in the country on public meetings that will use "hostile symbols": flags of Russia and the USSR, St. George's ribbons, as well as Soviet military uniforms.

At the end of April, Joosep Kaasik, head of the Estonian Police Prefecture of Põhja, said that on the eve of May 9, the department would strengthen control over social networks and plans to take measures to prevent car rallies in support of Russia.
