A cloudless blue sky, a calm sea.

Ideal conditions for setting sail from the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, a mastodon of the French Navy over 260 meters long.

Suddenly, the whole building shakes.

On the flight deck, a white vapor and a heady smell of kerosene fills the nostrils.

Five Rafale marine planes take off for an exercise in a deafening roar.

At the controls of one of the aircraft, Johann, a young pilot.

Cropped blond hair, piercing blue eyes behind his visor.

and we have the opening scene", smiles the young pilot.
