As of 6:30, there is no news of North Korea's launch of a ballistic missile fired from Pyongyang yesterday (4th).

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Workers' Party of Korea, had an article urging preparations for rice planting on the front page, and news related to the military parade on the second page, but did not include the news of the missile launch.

After launching a missile, North Korea has shown the appearance of revealing the model and releasing related photos through the Rodong Sinmun the next day.

While it is unknown why the missile news was not published, attention is being paid to whether North Korea will release a report through other media such as the Korean Central News Agency, the state-run media for external use.

North Korea fired a ballistic missile from Sunan, Pyongyang, at around 12:03 noon yesterday.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the missile flew east and landed in the East Sea with a maximum altitude of 780 km and a flight distance of 470 km.

The military focused on test-fire of ICBMs such as the Hwasong 15 or 17.

The military is analyzing North Korea's intentions from various angles along with accurate specifications in that this launch drew an unusual trajectory with a short maximum altitude and short flight distance.

The launch is the 14th armed protest this year and the first provocation after Kim Jong-un, in his speech at a military parade on the 25th of last month, hinted at the possibility of a preemptive nuclear attack.
