Three people died in the fire of a house located in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne) this Saturday.

The bodies of the victims were discovered in the rubble, reports Actu Val-de-Marne.

It took firefighters three hours to contain the blaze.

The fire could have started from a garbage can.

The flames then spread to the pavilion and nearby cars.

The father suffers from Diogenes syndrome

According to Le Parisien, the victims are a 52-year-old mother, her 22-year-old daughter and her 20-year-old son.

The father, a 57-year-old man, was burned on one foot.

He was hospitalized before being taken into custody.

This was finally lifted on Sunday evening.

The 50-year-old was again hospitalized under duress due to his psychological state.

The man has Diogenes syndrome.

He had accumulated for several years a large quantity of objects.
