The dramatic death of a 36-year-old mother, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, deeply shocked the inhabitants of Vaulx-en-Velin (Rhône).
She was found stabbed to death in her home in front of three of her children, aged 12, 10 and 4.
It was the 12-year-old child who immediately called the emergency services to tell them that his father had just stabbed his mother, before fleeing by car.
According to

, the 39-year-old suspect, who presented himself on the night of Saturday to Sunday at the police station in Meyzieu (Rhône), where he was placed in police custody, admitted to having stabbed his wife to death.
He was to be presented to the Lyon prosecutor's office on Monday.
According to his first statements, divorce proceedings were underway for this couple from Reunion, after more than 20 years of living together and five children born of their union.
