Pedro Sánchez will be the protagonist of his own television series.

At the beginning of March, the production

companies Secuoya Studios

and

The Pool

announced that they were going to co-produce a series of four episodes focused on showing the human side of those who work in the

Presidency of the Government

.

From

La Moncloa

they defend this initiative, alleging that the project is "an example of transparency and information for all citizens of a democratic State about the work of the Prime Minister and all the personnel who serve in the Presidency".

The companies promoting it present the project as an observational story, which will focus on more personal and everyday aspects, away from purely political or ideological arguments.

Leading the series will be

Curro Sánchez Varela

, winner of the 2015 Goya for Best Documentary Film (

Paco de Lucía: The Search

).

From Secuoya Studios it was emphasized that the objective is to bring to light "the most personal and human dimension of La Moncloa, seat of the presidency of the Government of Spain", including the participation of the current president, Pedro Sánchez.

From La Moncloa, to questions from the PP deputies

Macarena Montesinos

and

Eduardo Carazo

, he states in a written response sent to Congress that the "documentary series" is a private initiative that "in no case will it entail any cost for the budget of the Presidency of the Government nor will it affect the agenda of the Prime Minister".

In previous answers also on this series in which the President of the Government will intervene, the Executive has defended that "all national production", and therefore this one too, "can end up having a positive impact on the image perceived abroad" of

Spain

"reinforcing the power of attraction of our country".
