“Russian servicemen provided medical assistance and delivered more than 40 tons of humanitarian cargo to the residents of the Kharkiv region,” the defense department said in a Telegram message.
It is noted that local residents received the necessary medicines.
First of all, assistance is provided to families with children.
Earlier, the Élysée Palace reported that France had so far transferred 615 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including medical equipment and food.
