After the presidential election, the French are preparing to vote in the legislative elections.

The ballot will take place on June 12 and 19 and you only have a short time left to register on the electoral lists.

Indeed, the online registration date ends this Wednesday, May 4th.

If you wish to complete the process at the town hall or by post, the deadline is Friday, May 6.

There are three options for registering.

The first is done by the Public Service site using its FranceConnect identifiers.

Once the online form has been completed, you must provide proof of identity and proof of address to complete your registration.

The documents requested are the same at the town hall.

By mail, simply attach them to the completed form in the envelope.

Voting abroad obviously open

Note that Public Service allows you to check if you are registered on the electoral lists.

The website also lets you know the address and number of your polling station, as well as your national voter number.

The latter is essential if you wish to establish a power of attorney.

It also provides access to the history of proxies already given or received.

For French people living abroad, it is possible to vote in all French elections (election of advisers for French people living abroad, presidential, legislative, referendum, European).

To do this, you must be registered on the consular electoral list of the country where you live.
